In the process of building up and fiddling with bikes over the past few years, a number of resources and other peoples’ blogs have been immeasurably helpful. The purpose of this blog is to give back by chronicling in a comprehensive, picture filled and hopefully entertaining way how I came to build up “The Motor Bacon”, my 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile, along with other bikes that have helped me discover what I dig.
This is about what I’ve found. This isn’t about what’s right and wrong or what’s empirically so. Over time I’ve discovered that there are very few wrong answers, just preferences.
